Evaluation of Transportation Network Reliability in Incidents

Transportation network reliability is one of the most important issues for transport network providers; they favor a network that always provides high accessibility to raw materials and market places. Road transportation is one of the most important modes of transportation that could be subjected to different incidents; the occurrence of these incidents may reduce the network's reliability. This article first presents an accessibility measure that will be used to determine the reliability of different transportation networks, then by assuming different incident scenarios; road networks will be evaluated based on their accessibility reliability. This measure could be used for decision making in routing problems.
